My midwest marathon continued: US Pro XCT Subaru Cup, Mt. Morris, WI, June 25-27, 2010

Timing is everything. And with Nature Valley one week and the US Pro XCT Subaru Cup the following weekend, it meant I could stay one week back in my old stomping grounds, Red Wing, MN and see a few old friends and hang out with my family. I rode new trails I had never ridden, took my road bike on back roads, visited my Grandma. It was a great week.

Electric DA wins at Erpe-Mere

I was not sharp enough to notice, and thus I was scooped multiple times, but here it is - perhaps the first cyclocross victory on electric 7900, by Neils Albert.  I think we'll see more of this.  

Pain on the Peak

Today, I made it out to the inaugural Pain on the Peak cyclocross race presented by Portland Velo.  The race was well organized, and everything was run extremely well.

Soda vs Pop

Having grown up all over the country, I never know what's the preferred term for a soft drink - Soda or Pop.  This is a critical issue, and thank goodness this is being looked into.
