Cyclocross

Soccer is here

Soccer season has begun!  Both of my girls had their first games this weekend.  Annelis almost didn't make it on a team, but we joined a neighboring league at the last minute.  She's happy about this, because the jerseys are cooler.  She likes the blue. Mette is enjoying her second year, this time playing for the Lime Lizards.  Gotta love the bling white socks and shoes. And finally, here's a two part action shot of Mette's first goal kick of the year:

Flat tire

Wow I just checked out my flat tire.  There was a huge glob of Stan's goo mixed with dirt stuck to the outside.  Turns out it actually sealed up, but there wasn't enough air pressure to ride any more.  I peeled the goo away and found a gash about a centimeter long.  I'm impressed it sealed up at all.  I'll boot the tire and it'll ride again.

Krugers Kermesse

I hit the Kruger's dirt crit today.  It was very hot out there.  Hot and dusty.

< 30 Days!

'Cross is coming.  Less than 30 days until the real season begins.

Single Chainring Cyclocross

I read Brooke's post on single chainring stuff, and got to thinking I should probably put a bigger chainring on my single ring 'cross rig in preparation for the dirt crit taking place this Sunday.  Since I took everything apart, I decided to snap a few photos and show you how to set up a single chain ring setup for yourself.

Google Chrome

I did not see this coming, but wow, Google made a web browser.

First day of school!

Wahoo!  School is in session! Now I've got some work to do...

Get it Together

Sometimes, I can't get a song out of my head.  So, I'm going to start popping them up here on this site.  I don't know if this will work or not, so this is an experiment.

Sponsor changes in the PRO ranks

Big changes in pro bike racing sponsorship continued this week with several announcements of equipment sponsors.  Gerolsteiner will probably not be back next year.  Saunier Duval has already jumped ship, too.  Here it is; I drew you a picture: teamSwitchero

Another amazing video

What luck.  First DB Cooper, and now this?  I can't believe they caught this on film!  I believe this was filmed in Georgia.
